About Kate
Kate is a former Principal in Target Corporation’s corporate strategy group in Minneapolis, MN.
At Target, she developed, staffed, and ran projects alongside some of the company’s most senior leaders – from a rethink of Target’s enterprise pricing strategy (announced publicly in Fall 2017), to a capability strategy for the second-largest sourcing organization in the US, to formulating a digital strategy with Target’s newly-installed Chief Digital Officer.
Prior to Target, Kate’s work as a strategy consultant and project manager for McKinsey & Co. and Booz Allen Hamilton spanned clients and topics as diverse as an HR strategy in the US Department of Defense to adjacencies strategies for a medical device manufacturer.
Kate received her MBA from Cornell University’s SC Johnson School of Management, where she was a Bristol-Myers Squibb Leadership Fellow. She also holds a BA in Biology from the University of Virginia.
Kate is a proud native Delawarean, and in her spare time is a voracious consumer of advice columns of all kinds.
